GABRIEL MALAN
Co-Founder, President and CEO

Gabriel is a Futurist, who did dissertations on the future of computerization and the internet. He also has vast experience as entrepreneur in various sectors, including Tourism, Transport, Manufacturing, Construction, Import & Export, Sport & Recreation, Theme Park Development, and Mining. He integrated various IT applications into these fields. In Track & Field, Gabriel was an internationally acclaimed pole-vaulter in his younger days. He also worked and studied in the USA, Europe and Africa. He led an international team of researches on a four year intensive study to look into the future of global tourism. He has vast experience in establishing and expanding enterprises. As a member of an International Business Incubation organization, he is leading a community based initiative of business incubation in Southern Africa. He has been involved with Community Development Programs in Africa for more than twenty years. He also the inventor of various patents, including the four international patents on which Time Travel Studios and Time Travel Journal is based.
ANDRE PIETERSE
Co-Founder and Senior Vice President

Andre has had an illustrious and celebrated career as film executive, with over forty years experience in the motion picture industry. Co-Founder of South Africas two leading cinema chains, Ster Kinekor (Ster-Films 1962) & Metro Cinemas (1973). He received the desirable Film Man of the Year award in South Africa. He then proceeded to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer International Inc. based in Los Angeles, where he became Executive Vice President in charge of film distribution and production outside the USA and Canada. He was the founder and developer of Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate, one of the worlds finest residential golf destinations, in South Africa. He also founded Ma-Afrika Hotels, owners of prestigious tourism properties in South Africa. He is the founder and president of MA-Afrika Films currently producing films for the international circuit. He has just completed - A Million Colors - inspired by true events based on the life of a young South African actor. He is also in post-production on the controversial film - Winnie - starring Jennifer Hudson (Academy Award winner) and Terrence Howard (Academy Award nominee). Andre has played a key role in the formation of Time Travel Studios.
HERMAN BEETGE
Co-Founder, Vice President and General Counsel

Herman is an entrepreneur and a strategist with strong evaluation and monitoring abilities. His project management skills lead to with his involvement in the planning and management of various major international sporting events, such the Cricket World Cups (South Africa 2003 & Barbados 2007); Soccer World Cups (Germany 2006 & South Africa 2010); Summer Olympics (Greece 2004); Winter Olympics (USA 2002 & Italy 2006); PGA Presidents Cup Golf (South Africa 2003). He became known as an expert and specialist in the field of Resource Management. He consulted in 8 countries, including working with the South African Rugby World Cup Bid; the Indian Ocean Island Games (Madagascar); the African Cup of Nations Soccer (Egypt & Ghana); the Rugby World Cup (New Zeeland) and Saracens Rugby Club in the UK. He led an international team of researchers to look into improving major events management. He is experience in establishing and expanding enterprises and specialized in the development of new technology innovations in the fields of Medical Science; the Automotive Industry and Alternative Energy. He has also been involved with Community Programs in Africa for more than eight years. He played a key role in the formation of Time Travel Studios and Time Travel Journal.
JAN MALAN
Chief Service and Operations Officer & COO

Jan has had an illustrious and much decorated career in the South African Defense Force where he served with distinction as an officer for twenty two years. He holds degrees in Military Studies and Strategic Studies and is thoroughly trained and experienced in Management and Organization. As senior officer in combat, he was awarded the prestigious Pro-Virtue Decoration for exceptional operational leadership, only ever awarded to five Officers in South Africas history. After serving as Officer Commanding 8 South African Infantry Battalion, he was appointed Chief Instructor of the SA Army Senior Command and Staff Duties Course responsible for training the senior officers of various countries. He developed the first National War Gaming Centre for the military. After resigning from the Military, he moved into private business and established and expanded enterprises in the fields of Homeland Security; Sport and Recreation; Communication Technology and Intelligence Software Systems. He was first to develop a fully integrated IT sports competition results program for the sport of pigeon racing in South Africa. He recently developed a fully integrated national IT and communications plan for community security in South Africa. Jan is also a renowned public speaker.

ELBE SMITH
Chief Content Officer

Elbe, has had a respected career in the Film Industry having worked on several international feature films, including the highly successful -The Gods Must be Crazy 2-. She is also well known in the Broadcasting Industry as director and producer of award-winning children's programs. In the early 1990's she formed part of the team spearheading Business Television in South Africa. Subsequently Smith became executive producer for two television channels on DSTV. She also directs and produces projects for various blue chip companies in Southern Africa. She was also the executive producer for one of the largest digital marketing networks in the world. She was executive producer of a multi-million dollar partnership between a South African University and California State University to deliver a BBA and MBA degree via interactive television. She did extensive international research on digital communication and marketing solutions and played a significant role in benchmarking the latest technology in interactive digital broadcasting, especially for the purpose of education programming. Her company, Simply Media is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with new offices in Botswana, from where they will be operating in sub-Saharan Africa. Elbe played a key role in the formation of Time Travel Studios.
DANITA BEETGE
Chief Communications Officer

Danita is a qualified International Communications Agent and gained vast experience in Public Relations and Project Management with her involvement in numerous international events such as: the Summer Olympics 2004 in Athens and 2008 in Beijing; the World Cup Soccer 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa.; the Rugby World Cup 2007 in France. Having done numerous high profile Fund Raising and Social Responsibility Projects, she has also been involved in numerous International Media Campaigns. She was the in-house PRO for AVS, who specializes in content security for corporate companies such as De Beers; BMW, Mc Kafee and ABSA, the largest bank group in Southern Africa. Danita played a key role in the formation of Time Travel Studios.

DEWALD LLOYD
Chief Product Officer

Dewald is a software entrepreneur specializing in the development of GIS integrated web based software solutions, taking everyday data in to the realm of accessible map solutions. Dewald has been in the industry for almost ten years. His Company e-LisoSAT (Pty) Ltd has successfully delivered several solutions including: TrackLocate - a web based tracking solution, The Golfers Guide to Golfing in SA, ABUZZ -a map-based communication solution. CAS a client administration management system and SIMS a satellite image management solution, e-LisoSAT was recently involved in the web based mapping solutions for the Soccer Federation Cup 2010. He recently helped to develop a fully integrated national IT and communications plan for community security in South Africa. Dewald's focus is now on TTS to build and provide a map-based database solution utilizing the latest technology and trends.

JOHAN LOUW
Chief Talent Officer

Johan has a MBA and PhD in Entrepreneurship and Psychology and comes out of 22 years in Education. He has been involved in recruiting, selecting, appointing and developing of staff for 10 years. His involvement with sport participation and coaching eventually led him into life skill coaching in the public, private and corporate sectors. He has had a successful private practice as Psychologist for 12 years, focusing mainly on Career Orientation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development. He is a distinguished facilitator and public speaker, also in the international arena, specializing in subjects such as: Group Work, Anti-Bias, Change Management, Matrix Management, Dispute Resolution and Labor Relations, Organizational Development and Monitoring, Strategic Planning, Whole Institutional Evaluation, Conditions of Service, Integrated Quality Management Systems, Integrated IT Solutions, Performance Management, Management of Strategic Human Resource Management, Professional Work Ethics, Leadership, Project Management, Life Skills, Conflict and Stress Management, Financial Management, as well as Entrepreneurship Development. He is a financial and investment advisor with a leading financial institution in South Africa and also plays a leading role in various community programs in South Africa.

HARRY De VRIES
Chief of Commercialization and Sales Officer

Harry is an incurable imagineer and futurist. He specializes in new product development and the incubation and commercialization of new ideas. Harry is passionate about the development and protection of intellectual property. He has developed more than 15 new products and has received numerous awards for new product development and design in the past 20 years. Having lived and worked in Africa, the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand he has been involved in 5 major IPOs with a variety of diverse products in the field of sustainable energy, energy harvesting, IT-based Telecommunication, VOIP, automotive accessories – both OEM and aftermarket as well as several breakthrough IT and medical devices. Harry is a founding member of various technical committees within the SABS [South African Bureau of Standards]. Harry is a self-confessed 'propeller head' and Harley-Davidson fanatic and designs and builds custom motorcycles in his spare time.
